About DJ Macho

Possessing a love for music and an entrepreneurial mindset, DJ Macho stepped into the entertainment industry as a high school senior in 2019 when he began hosting parties in his hometown of Jackson, MS. Immediately after graduating high-school he realized that he not only knew what it took to put together a party, but also what it took to control one as a DJ. Away at college, DJ Macho found the perfect opportunity to work daily on his skills and study the careers of his biggest influences such as DJ Khaled, DJ Drama, Jazzy Jeff, and DJ T. Lewis. It was by this example of passion that allowed DJ Macho to take the party scene by storm at Mississippi State in his first year. DJ Macho started out doing house parties and then progressed to clubs at least 3 times a week, where he was quickly recognized as one of the hottest young DJs in the region. DJ Macho continued to grow and brand himself with his famous tag-line “Who’s The DJ?” alluding to the confusion of those who would attend his events early on and be shocked at his talent. In 2020, DJ Macho was able to secure his first gig as a concert DJ as an opening DJ for the Blac Youngsta “Church on Sunday” tour. Just as DJ Macho’s name and career began to gain traction, the COVID-19 pandemic began and shut down the entertainment industry for an extended period. During this time, DJ Macho took the time to lock himself in his room and work on ways to continue getting better as a DJ, but he was also able to come up with the idea of “Raising Hail”. Raising Hail was DJ Macho’s first musical project released in 2020, which featured original songs from local artists from Mississippi State, as well as a rap cypher and artist interviews. Once the pandemic settled, DJ Macho was able to continue growing as not only a DJ, but also a producer. Over a two year span, DJ Macho has been able to DJ for major concerts and artists including, but not limited to Key Glock, Asian Doll, Beat King, and Big Boogie, become the official DJ for MS State Athletics, secure a team role as an official Red Bull DJ/ Brand Ambassador, and release his most recent musical project “Never Not Working” (May 2022) which was completely executively and record produced by him under his developing music label/brand “Never Not Working”.
